Hi, I am Latricia Friend the owner of Career Documents LLC, a résumé writing and career coaching service, based in New York City with clients all over the world.

In establishing Career Documents LLC, I leverage my knowledge as a consultant and trainer in the private service and hospitality industries to ensure that the documents we pull together are written in your voice.

I offer over 30 years of combined experience as a résumé writer, hiring manager, and consultant. My work experience includes roles at non-profits, corporate entities, government institutions, and private residences. Equally invaluable is my experience in several private service industry associations.

Clients, colleagues, and friends say that I am a focused and intentional networker. Since my connections span the world, across every industry, and sector I tend to agree. I partner with staffing agencies, principal employers, and professionals to ensure industry standards are adhered to and industry best practices are shared.

Why me? I completed a Household Management Certification at the Starkey International Institute for Household Management, finishing at the top of my class, in 2007. After several years supporting individuals and families in the Washington, DC Metro Area, I returned to NYC to manage family medical issues.

In 2011, I began to pursue my consulting business full-time, working with clients the Metro New York City area to support individuals and families by operating a fractional household management business to serve a small, select roster of discerning clients.

Launching Career Documents LLC in 2020, I work directly with candidates to help them gain positions in some of the most luxurious private homes in the United States, event venues, and high-end hotels – and I’ll do the same for you.

When I am not working directly with clients you can find me on mentoring NYC high school students, on Clubhouse connecting during the pandemic, or networking on LinkedIn. When the world opens back up, you’ll find me networking and connecting IRL along the east coast.
